The Tourist Office, in collaboration with Morgane, a herbalist (Herbaetum), offers workshops to familiarise yourself with the plants that surround us in the heart of Moselle!

• Women’s Plants Workshop
14 March at 10:00 a.m. – €35 per person – Location: Tourist Office
Discover plants dedicated to women’s well-being and their uses in treating the most common problems. Each participant will also make a mother tincture of yarrow and take their preparation home with them. Memo sheets will be sent by email.

• Create your own herbal medicine cabinet
25 April at 10:00 a.m. – €25 per person – Location: Tourist Office
How to navigate the range of herbal products on offer and avoid being ripped off. Which plants you need to get started in herbalism and how to use them for common problems (digestive, respiratory, stress/sleep, women’s health, etc.). Description of 10 important plants. Each participant will leave with a 25-page digital ebook.

•Plant walk
27 June at 10:00 a.m. – €15 per person – Location: Quiet zone in Folschviller with the option to continue walking. Meet at the Folschviller cemetery car park.
Discover the plants along the paths (forest/meadow), how to identify them and avoid confusing them with other inedible plants. Learn how to pick and use these plants in home herbal medicine. Herbal tea tasting during the walk.

• Card-making workshop
8 July at 4pm – €25 per person – Location: Tourist Office
Discover the cyanotype photographic process to create small works of art from plant prints : greeting cards, decorative images, fun fans, etc.

• Autumn Detox Workshop
26 September at 10:00 am – €35 per person – Location: Tourist Office
What lies behind the concept of ‘detox’? How to do a spring clean with plants (and CMV) and what precautions to take. Each participant will also make a detox synergy mother tincture (artichoke, rosemary, etc.) and leave with their preparation. Memo sheets will be sent by email.

• Winter Ailments Workshop
24 October at 10:00 a.m. – €35 per person – Location: Tourist Office
Which medicinal plants can be used to improve your comfort when faced with winter problems (infections, colds, etc.), and how to choose the right forms and dosages. Each participant will also make a ‘respiratory’ balm and leave with their preparation. Recipe sheets will be sent by email.
